Myth: Anyone with gender dysphoria is transgender, all transgender people hate their bodies, and all transgender people get surgery and take medications.

I work in a the children and teen’s department of a public library. We got a new book on coping with dysphoria, and since I’m the only trans person on staff I decided to read it over.

I’d like to note that it affirms non-dysphoric trans folk and non-binary trans folk as shown above, so I’d recommend it. It’s age-appropriate for the middle school crowd especially.
